Good Shepherd Youth

Members of Good Shepherd Parish’s Youth Ministry write thank you cards and package sweet treats for parishioners who donated blood at Good Shepherd’s winter 2015 blood drive.

They include Peyton Shake, left, Beth Thomas, Erin Robertson, Nicole Niesen, Kate Durchholz, Jordan Lasher, Clarice Block, Nick Folz, Elise Ulrich and Sarah Fruit.

Good Shepherd partners with the American Red Cross to host winter and summer blood drives each year.  For the past four years, the parish youth ministry has prepared and served a hot breakfast to parishioners donating at the winter blood drive as an extra way to say thank you for their lifesaving gift.  This year, the group also was in charge of registering donors, and escorting and monitoring them in the canteen area.
