Resurrection Teacher

Resurrection teacher Jennifer Vangampler displays a check that she received as part of the Peabody Energy Leader in Education award.

Theresa Berendes, principal, said Vangampler puts “110 percent in all she does for her students and our school. She, along with her co-teacher Jennifer Meyer, are the inspiration for our first grade Make A Difference project. Each student is given $5 to ‘make a difference’ in an organization that is near and dear to their hearts.”

The project was recently honored with Leadership Evansville’s Sam Featherstone Youth Award. Above she is joined by her parents, Deacon Joseph and Ginny Seibert, and Greg Schmidt.
