St. Raphael Youth Make

St. Raphael Parish members Kelli Reutman, left, Calvin Sander, Sara Mehringer, Greg Vonderheide, Travis Reuber and Takumi Mundy show the Paschal Candle they and other members of the parish’s Junior-Senior Religious Education Class made for Easter. Other class members not available for the photo include Caleb Danhafer, Katelyn Ferguson, Brynn Hoffman, Chloe Johnson, Bryce Neukam, Morgan Seng and Shyann Seng. The class melted down remnants of past years’ paschal candles to make the new one. They decorated the candle during class and learned about the symbols of our faith that the candle represents.
