Father Wargel's

Father Bill Wargel, center, celebrates Mass at Evansville’s Holy Redeemer Parish on May 24 to mark the Golden Jubilee of his priestly ordination. Joining him are Deacon James King, left, Deacon James Woebkenberg, and Concelebrants Father Paul Ferguson, pastor of Holy Redeemer, and Father Bill Diestch, retired. Father Wargel was ordained to the priesthood on May 27, 1965, and retired from pastoral ministry in 2004.
