Father Jason Gries, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Daylight, grabbed this selfie when the Berendes family visited him earlier this summer in Washington, D.C. Father Gries is there studying canon law. They’re standing in front of a popular Washington eatery, Ollie’s Trolley.
