Knights Welcome Students Back To School

Knights of Columbus Annunciation Council No. 15092 visited the Holy Spirit Campus of Annunciation Catholic School in Evansville on Aug. 5 to deliver school supplies that were provided to more than 25 students when classes opened on Aug. 6.

The winners of the school supplies included four special-needs students. The backpacks and boxes the Knights prepared included binders, pencils, crayons, pencil pouches and other supplies.

This is the first year that Council No. 15092 has coordinated the effort. Grand Knight Kevin Sitzman and Deputy Grand Knight Tom Loveridge told The Message that the council intends to expand the effort and make it an annual event.
