Godsey Leaving Catholic Schools Office

Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools Gwen Godsey has announced that she will be leaving the diocesan staff on June 30. Godsey is relocating to Charlotte, N.C., with her husband Jeff, who accepted a position with Berry Plastics.

 “I want to take this opportunity to thank Gwen for her leadership in the diocese in the areas of safety/security, transportation, child nutrition, teacher licensing, school information software, community support, student health issues, and so much more,” Superintendent of Schools Daryl Hagan said. “Gwen was instrumental in moving the office from paper to on-line.  She will be missed around the diocese and we wish both Gwen and Jeff the best as they move to North Carolina.”

Hagan said the school office will review the current responsibilities and will post the position in the near future to begin a search for a new assistant superintendent.
