Catholic Company To Handle Diocesan Safe Environment Background Checks

The Diocese of Evansville has partnered with SELECTiON.COM® to help protect our children, families and the work of the Church through background checks.  A national, Catholic, faith-based background check company located in Cincinnati, Ohio, SELECTiON.COM® is blessed to serve many dioceses across the Um.S. 

Diocesan Vice-Chancellor and Safe Environment Coordinator Mike Roesch notes that the benefits of this new provider include a single database to track background checks and youth protection training throughout the diocese, the ability for applicants to submit their information online, and a mechanism for regular re-screening of current volunteers and employees. “One of the stated goals of our policy on background checks from the beginning has been to occasionally re-screen our current employees and volunteers,” he said. “By including a regular, automatic re-check of their national database, SELECTiON.COM® will allow us to upgrade our procedures at a great value.”
