Traveling To D.C. For March For Life

         On Thursday, Jan. 24, youth and adults from the Diocese of Evansville will board buses for Washington D.C. to take part in the annual Pilgrimage for Life. Prior to their departure, the pilgrims will attend a Mass with Bishop Charles C. Thompson at St. Ferdinand Church, Ferdinand.

                 

                  The highlights of the three-day trip are as follows:

  • Friday, Jan. 25 - Buses stop for Mass and breakfast at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Woodbridge, Va., then on to Washington D.C. for the March for Life. At the completion of the March, pilgrims return to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for dinner prior to attending the Life is Very Good Rally at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University.
  • Saturday, Jan. 26  – Pilgrims attend Mass with Bishop Thompson before heading into Washington D.C. for a day of sightseeing. Following the sightseeing, pilgrims will load buses at the Air and Space Museum and return to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for dinner and a closing program/concert.
  • Sunday, Jan. 27 – Buses will return to their original pick-up locations around the Diocese of Evansville by approximately 9:00 a.m.
