Respect Life Celebration Features Catholic Relief Services CEO

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Evansville has announced that Dr. Carolyn Y. Woo, President and CEO of Catholic Relief Services, will deliver the keynote address at the 2016 Diocesan Respect Life Celebration.

The event is set for Oct. 20. Good Shepherd Parish in Evansville will host.

The evening will begin with Mass at 5:30 .m. CT. A catered dinner and Dr. Woo’s keynote will follow, also at Good Shepherd.

CRS is the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the U.S.  Woo has been with the organization since 2012.

Before joining CRS, she served from 1997 to 2011 as dean of the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Prior to the University of Notre Dame, Woo served as associate executive vice president for academic affairs at Purdue University.
