Happy Birthday!

Father Anthony Govind, associate pastor of St. Boniface Parish in Evansville, celebrates his birthday on Aug. 7.

Parish Nurse Ministry in Loogootee

Father Kenneth Walker, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Loogootee, announced a new parish nurse ministry in the parish bulletin for the weekend of July 16-17. Registered Nurse Amy Todd, a St. John the Evangelist parishioner, began the ministry. “Amy is donating her time and talents, for which I am most grateful,” Father Walker said. The Parish Nurse Ministry Office hosted blood pressure clinics at the Parish Center on July 16 and July 17. “Amy will keep us posted regarding other health opportunities in the future,” Father Walker added.
