Joseph Weyers Joins OYAYA

Steve Dabrowski, Diocesan Director of Youth and Young Adult Minister, has announced that Joseph T.R. Weyers is joining the OYAYA staff as associate director. He will begin his duties on Aug. 8.

Weyers comes to Evansville from St. Charles, Ill., where he operated The Agora 47, a company he founded that provides social media content and management to numerous organizations.

“Joe's background and education make him a perfect fit with the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry and our plans for further enhancing the services we provide to our parishes,” Dabrowski said. "He will be a great asset to the diocese, and we are excited to have him join our team.”

Weyers is a 2007 graduate of Lewis University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in theology. He 2011, he earned a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Loyola University in Chicago. He also has completed all 72 credit hours needed for a Master of Divinity from Loyola.
In addition to founding The Agora 47, Weyers has served in youth ministry positions with St. John Neumann Parish in St. Charles and Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Cary, Ill.
