Happy Anniversary!

Combined “Parishes Picnic” a success

Father Joseph F. Erbacher, pastor of St. Peter Parish, Linton, and Holy Name Parish, Bloomfield, is pleased to share that the combined annual “Parishes Picnic” was a great success. “I am most happy and edified with the friendship and good times had by all!” Father Erbacher said. Approximately 130 adults and children attended the picnic, held on June 26.  Father Erbacher extends his thanks to the Knights of Columbus for sponsoring this annual event.  

 

Germanfest is Aug. 12-13 in Vincennes

The Christian Educational Foundation of Vincennes will be holding a two-day Germanfest at Highland Woods Park from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug 13.  Dinners will also be available at the Highland Woods Community Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening.  Entertainment will be provided each night by Ray Major and Mike O’Bryan from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by the Alpine Express Band from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. The event is open to the public. Admission into Highland Woods is $5 per person (must be at least 21 to attend) and   admission into the Community Center is free.  Proceeds from this event help the Christian Educational Foundation provide support to the Vincennes Catholic Schools.  Please contact the CEF Office at 812-882-5889 or office@vincennescef.org for further information.
