Bishop To Celebrate Red, White And Blue Masses

Over the next few weeks, Bishop Charles C. Thompson will celebrate Red, White and Blue Masses in the Evansville area.

The Blue Mass honors those working in public safety (e.g. police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, 911 operators and EMS personnel). The Blue Mass is at 10 a.m. on Sept. 29 at St. John the Baptist Parish, 625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630.

Sts. Mary and John Parish in Evansville will host the Red Mass for judges, attorneys, other legal professionals and government officials, and all who serve justice. Bishop Thompson will celebrate the Mass at Noon on Oct. 3 at St. Mary Church, 613 Cherry St., Evansville, IN 47713.

The Southwest Indiana Guild of the Catholic Medical Association has organized the White Mass for those in the healing profession of medicine. Bishop Thompson will celebrate the Mass at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 at St. John the Baptist Parish in Newburgh (625 Frame Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630).
