Holy Rosary soccer tournament champions
Congratulations to the Holy Rosary School third grade girls soccer team for winning the tournament championship on Sept. 21. The girls enjoyed every aspect of playing as a team and good sportsmanship...perseverance paid off! The girls were led by coaches Meghan Gries and Nick Eden.
Congratulations to Youth of the Day!
Resurrection school eighth grader, Paige Miller, received her Youth of the Day award from the West Side Nut Club. She is one of three junior high students selected in Vanderburgh County to represent West Side Nut Club Fall Festival as the Youth of the Day. This honor is determined by grade point average, participation in school activities, community service, and leadership ability. Festival Chairman Rick Decker,and Youth of the Day chair Mark Head surprised her at school with this honor.
