Diocese Of Evansville Wisdom Days

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Evansville held Wisdom Day events in three locations this year. Wisdom Day in Huntingburg occurred on Oct. 24 at the Huntingburg Community Center. The Vincennes Wisdom Day occurred on Oct. 31 at Vincennes University. Evansville Wisdom Day occurred Nov. 7 at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Daylight.

Bishop Charles C. Thompson spoke in Huntingburg and Vincennes on the Jubilee of Mercy, and Father Alex Zenthoefer, pastor of Evansville’s Annunciation of the Lord Parish, spoke on the Jubilee of Mercy in Evansville as Bishop Thompson traveled to Alaska for the installation of Archbishop Paul Etienne.

Other speakers at each event provided information on a variety of issues that are relevant to senior citizens, and each event included a session on low-impact exercise from local professionals.
