Recalling The History Of St. Clement Parish And Church

Father Lowell Will talked about the history of Boonville’s St. Clement Parish and Church during a Nov. 20 tour of the new St. Clement Church, which opened six years ago. “Many in our city and throughout the diocese have not seen our beautiful new church,” Father Will told The Message. “So we warmly welcomed all people of any religious denomination to join us for this open house.” Every 30 minutes during the afternoon event, Father Will gave a brief explanation of what was incorporated in the new church from the old church and what is new. He also talked about elements of the Catholic faith, including the Mass and Sacraments. In addition to Father Will’s presentations, volunteers from St. Clement Parish served refreshments to visitors.
