St. Joseph Parish in Jasper was one of several parishes across the Diocese of Evansville that celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe with special events. Bishop Charles C. Thompson, second from left in the first photo, concelebrated Mass with Father Crispine Adongo, left, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Pastor Father Ray Brenner, who also serves as Dean of the diocese’s East Deanery, and St. Joseph Associate Pastor Father Bill Traylor. Dancers wearing traditional costumes performed before and after Mass, which included traditional Mexican worship music. There also was a procession with a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
