2017 Confirmation Spectacular Is Feb. 4

The Diocese of Evansville Office of Catechesis and the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will hold the 2017 Confirmation Spectacular on Feb. 4 on the campus of St. Joseph Parish in Jasper. Deacon Jerry Pratt Jr. will serve as keynote speaker, and Bishop Charles C. Thompson will celebrate the event’s closing Mass.

Participants will uncover the power of the Sacraments, explore the treasures of the mass and grow in their understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which they will receive in Confirmation.

Online registration is open now, and the offices of Catechesis and Youth and Young Adult Ministry request that online registration be complete by Jan. 23. The cost has been reduced to $10 per student, and the fee for adult chaperones has been eliminated. A $5 late fee will be added for each participant registered after Jan. 23.
