Amazing Shake - Resurrection Style

Resurrection student Dawson Schroeder laughs with diocesan Superintendent Dr. Daryl Hagan during the first annual Amazing Shake Challenge. For the past nine weeks, the fifth through eighth graders have been fine tuning their firm handshakes, introduction skills and conversation skills. The top eight students met with dignitaries from the Evansville area including Dr. Hagan, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, retired Resurrection teacher Sister Doris Marie Knebel, Deaconess Women’s Hospital CEO Chris Ryan, Brad and Andy Niemeier of Azzip Pizza, Matt Wannemueller of the West Side Nut Club, news anchor Jackie Monroe and Krista Lockyear of Lockyear Law Firm.  

Paige Miller placed first in the competition, followed by second place Rachel Luigs and Schroeder in third.
