Evening of Adoration planned for June 2
All are invited to attend an evening of adoration in celebration of the ordination to the Priesthood for Deacon John Pfister and Deacon Jerry Pratt at 7 p.m. CDT on June 2 at Annunciation of the Lord Parish, Christ the King Church in Evansville. The service offers a time of prayer and worship before the Blessed Sacrament and an opportunity to pray for Deacon Pfister and Deacon Pratt as they prepare for ordination the following day. In addition, this is also a call for all people, especially the young, to recognize the presence of God and to be aware of His invitation to a life of fulfillment in following His will. Memorial Day Worship Opportunities
A “Boots Mass” will be held at 10 a.m. on May 28 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Daylight to pray for peace and in memory of the fallen soldiers.
A Memorial Day Service will be held at 10 a.m. on May 29 at the mausoleum chapel of St.Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Evansville. All are welcome to join.
