About the future homeowner

Mallory is the mother of 2-year-old twin boys Kingston and Kobe. She has worked in the healthcare field for the past four years and has earned a 2-year degree in criminal justice. Her goal is to serve on the Evansville Police Department.

“Right now, my dream is too get into our home, then get started on my career,” she told Habitat-Evansville. “This is a great opportunity for me and my kids at the perfect time. Because of my work with Habitat, I know that I will have a forever home.”

Mallory praised the Habitat process for prospective home owners, which includes a commitment to complete sweat-equity hours before taking possession of a new home.

“My schedule is great right now between work, kids and sweat quity,” she said. “Everything has just flowed together, and the people involved have helped make it work for me. It’s awesome how it’s worked out.
