Memorial athletes nominated for Sports Player of the Year
Reitz Memorial High School Seniors Andrew Cross and Matthew Schadler have been nominated for the 2018 IndyStar Sports Player of the Year in Indiana for Boys Soccer and Boys Cross-Country respectfully.
The third-annual IndyStar Sports Awards will honor hundreds of high school student-athletes nominated from across Indiana, with 28 awards for specific sports as well as at-large honors such as Male and Female Athletes of the Year.
Former Indianapolis Colts wide-receiver Reggie Wayne will be the keynote speaker for the April 29 event at Clowes Memorial Hall in Indianapolis celebrating Indiana's most accomplished high school athletes of the 2017-18 school year.
