New Marian Educational Outreach website
Marian Educational Outreach Executive Director Annie-Rose Keith tells The Message that MEO has a new website. “Feel free to update it wherever our old website (now unpublished) is mentioned,” she said. The new website address is http://www.meoforkids.org.
House of Discernment hosting ‘Savio Nights’
Father Tyler Tenbarge tells The Message that the Diocese of Evansville’s new Fther Deydier House of Discernment is hosting “Savio Night” activities monthly for young men ages 12-17 and any of their fathers who want to attend.
“We held our first gathering of 12-17-year-old young men and their fathers on Oct. 21. Twenty-three young guys from t10 different parishes joined the House residents and me for a bonfire, dinner, games, faith formation and prayer. Our monthly meetings are named in honor of Saint Dominic Savio, who, though he died in his teenage years, remains a model of Catholic faith and virtue for guys today.”
Father Tenbarge said the activities begin at 6:30 p.m. CST, and meetings are scheduled for the following dates through May 2019: Nov. 18, Dec. 16, Han. 20, Feb. 17, Mar. 17, April 28 and May 19. Email trtenbarge@evdio.org for more information.
