It’s time

someone did

something

Deacon Mike Seibert writes in the newsletter at St. Peter Celestine Parish, Celestine, and St. Raphael Parish, Dubois: “Seventy percent of Catholics nationwide don’t go to Mass every Sunday.

“Isn’t it time someone did something?

“We are blessed in our area that attendance has not yet sunk so low – but we are seeing a decline.”

He is looking for people who want to make a positive change in the lives of parishioners. “One way we’re trying to do that is to give away a book or CD every Christmas and Easter.

“In addition, we provide the CDs at the entrances of the church – and the CD of the month several times per year.”
