Shelling Cranberries

Students from the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana recently went to the Seton Harvest and shelled cranberry beans.  After shelling boxes full of cranberry beans, they went to the Daughters of Charity to pray and reflect upon serving one another.  The experience was both fun and spiritually enriching.  If you don't know much about the Seton Harvest it is community-run and sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul.   The farm is certified as Naturally Grown.  A portion of each week’s harvest goes directly to nearly a dozen different charities serving the poor and hungry.
