Advent Activity

Nativity Advent Program, 6:30 p.m., Dec. 4, Nativity, Evansville; view “Posada,” a documentary about three unaccompanied immigrant teenagers that helps lay the foundation for future immigrants in need of assistance; refreshments will be served; everyone welcome.

“Creating Hope” for Cancer Patients, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Dec. 3 and 10, sessions first and second Tuesday of each month, Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center Conference Room, Jasper; sessions use art and creative expression as coping mechanisms for patients with cancer and are designed for cancer patients, their families and caregivers; art materials and instructional book are available at each session; sessions are free but pre-registration is required by calling Tracy Wright at 812-996-0626.

 

Alzheimer’s Association: Creating Positive Holiday Experiences, 5-7 p.m., Dec. 4, Alzheimer’s Assoc.
