Candy Grams

The Resurrection Catholic School Student Council sold candy grams the week of Dec. 16, with proceed going to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.

“I came out of my office one morning and saw a student walking down the hall crying,” Resurrection Principal Theresa Berendes told The Message.

“I asked him what was wrong, and he said he’d gotten to school too late to buy his candy gram; so I took him down the hall and made sure he was able to get one. At the end of the day, when the candy grams were delivered, I received the one he bought. That made me cry!”
