Washington Catholic High School Choir Performs At Epcot

Members of the Washington Catholic High School choir performed at Epcot Center in Florida under the direction of Katherine Ulrich.

“They were selected to sing during two performances at Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida on Dec. 8 for the Candlelight Procession at Epcot Center,” said Karie Craney, principal.

“Last year members of this year’s senior class came to me wanting to record a CD to send to Walt Disney World as an audition for the Candlelight Processional.

“Students began preparing for their audition DCD at the start of the school year and submitted the application and recording on Sept 24.”

“In addition to rehearsing during our class time, we have been meeting after school at least once a week," said Ulrich.

The 17 members of the choir sang "Joy to the World" and "The Prayer.”

The choir inlcudes Elizabeth Hackler, Kendra Taylor Andrea Ramirez, Amanda Aldridge, Claire Burch, Aubrey Aldridge, Zoey Baker, Claire Jarrett, Grace Bassler, Uma Patel, Elizabeth Perkins, Sam Baker, John Buchanan, Rachel May, Brooklyn Allen, Kaitlyn Craney.
