Saying Good-bye

As announced in the Nov.15, 2013, issue of The Message, Father Ron Kreilein became associate pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Vincennes and St. Philip Neri Parish in Bicknell on Jan. 8, 2014. Father Ron left St. Joseph Parish in the city of Evansville, where parishioners held a farewell dinner on Dec. 28, 2013, to honor and thank him for his service.

“Father Ron was surprised by all of it,” said parishioner Rosemary Urash. “It was a happy and sad occasion because no one wanted to see Father Ron leave.”

Father Jay Davidson, who continues as pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Evansville, became administrator at St. Joseph Parish on Jan. 8.
