Today's Number Is 100!

Kindergarteners and first-graders at St. Matthew Catholic School in Mount Vernon recently celebrated the 100th day of classes this school year.

They completed various activities using the number 100 and dressed up to look like they are 100 years old.

First-grade teacher Lauren Austin, fifth from right in the photo, visits with a group of her “elderly” first-graders including Kyra Rainey, left, Hank Partridge, Kyle Lindenschmidt, Blake Banks, Tyler Jolley, Catie Claire Bell, Colton Green, Maddox Suits, Caleb Watzlavik, Landon McCarty and Charlie Hargrove.
