Members of the Knights of Columbus Annunciation Council 5581 in Ireland have donated 120 teddy bears for use in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

In the photograph are Craig Greulich, grand knight, Terry Nicholson, past grand knight, and Jesse Bachman, project chair. They are joined by Vicki Stuffle, director of emergency services and house supervision and other emergency room personnel.

“The emergency room can be a scary place for small children,” Bachman said, “The bears will give them something to hold on to and give comfort during their stay.”
