Pen Pals

“We have pen pals from the UAE!!” reports Madalyn Steckler, third grade teacher at St. Benedict Cathedral School in Evansville.

“When I taught in China, this teacher and I became friends. She now teaches in The UAE [United Arab Emirates], and our children are corresponding!”

In the photo third graders display letters they received from their pen pals.
 
“We sent a second batch of letters to them a few days ago. It takes quite a while to receive the mail, so we may have one more time to write. They love learning about the different culture and climate.”
