Abbi And Stan

Abbi Weissmann, 14, of Evansville spends time on March 21 with her new “BFF” Stan, from the Disney TV Show “Dog with a Blog.” The Evansville-based Wish Upon A Star organization granted Abbi’s wish for a visit from Stan, whose real name is Mick. Steve Solomon and Guin Dill of Good Dog Animals in Los Angeles own and train him, and they brought him to Evansville to meet Abbi. She has suffered from a heart condition since birth, and is under hospice and home-nursing care. Abbi and her family are members of St. John the Baptist Parish in Newburgh.
