The Catholic Foundation of Southwestern Indiana has named S. Todd Brock its new Executive Director, effective May 12. Brock joins the foundation from Brescia University in Owensboro, Ky., where he has served the past five years as Vice-President for Advancement and Public Relations, and as a member of the President’s Cabinet.

“We welcome Todd and his family to the Diocese of Evansville,” said Bishop Charles C. Thompson. “The work of the Catholic Foundation provides lasting tributes to many wonderful people across our 12 counties, and those tributes serve to enrich many of our parishes, schools and ministries with ongoing financial support. Todd will play a vital role in this important work, and we wish him the very best as he begins his service.”

“We are thrilled to have Todd come aboard as our new Executive Director,” said Foundation Board Chair Matthew Atkinson. “He has an outstanding record of service and achievement in roles that clearly demonstrate his fit for us. I hope everyone across southwestern Indiana will join us in welcoming Todd to the Foundation.”

Atkinson is a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Vincennes, Ind., and is Vice-President of Engineering and Development for Solar Sources.

Brock is a 1997 graduate of Indiana University, and is a native Hoosier hailing from Sellersburg, Ind. He is approaching two decades of service within the not-for-profit and higher-education fields, much of that time spent with Hanover College and Brescia University. “I am very anxious to start my service within the Diocese of Evansville, and service to the people of the Greater Evansville region,” Brock said. “This ministry offers a unique opportunity for good, and to partner with many who want to leave a lasting legacy for the betterment of others. I am excited about that mission, and my family and I are ready to become very involved within the fabric of the Evansville community.”

Todd and his wife Sarah have five children: John, 14; Louis, 12; Eliza, 10; William, 8; and Henry, 7. They are in the process of relocating to Evansville.
