Joy Campaign
A note in the bulletin at St. Joseph Parish in Jasper notes “the money for t-shirts and wrist bands sold earlier was donated to Habitat for Humanity.”
A letter written by Melissa Baxter followed. “Dear Sixth Grade Class,
“Thank you so very much for your hard work and generous donation! Your gift was just enough to buy the window in Shea’s bedroom! In her new bedroom she will be warm. She will be comfortable, be able to study and look out that window to see her yard, trees and guests coming to visit. At night she can look out the window and see the moon and stars created by our Heavenly Father who put them there to show his love for her and for you!”
She added, “All of you who so generously bought wrist bands or a t-shirt made this possible. Thank you!!”

Father Adolph Egloff, a retired priest of the Diocese of Evansville, was ordained to the priesthood May 14, 1940.
Father David Martin, pastor of St. John and St. Mary parishes, both in Evansville, was ordained to the priesthood May 14, 1976.
Father James Koressel, pastor of All Saints Parish, Cannelburg, and St. Peter Parish, Montgomery, was ordained to the priesthood May 17, 1969.
Father Raymond Brenner, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Jasper, was ordained to the priesthood May 17, 1969.
Father Eugene Heerdink, a retired priest of the Diocese of Evansville, was ordained to the priesthood May 19, 1951. He resides at 212 W. 13th St., Jasper IN 47546.
