'Our Favorite Corvette Ever'

St. Bernard Parish in Rockport has been raffling classic cars as part of its annual social for the past 26 years. The 2014 raffle proved especially memorable, thanks to Jeff Morrison.

He won a gorgeous 1957 Corvette convertible in the 2010 raffle, and he decided to sell the beauty back to St. Bernard to serve as the 2014 grand prize.

Organizers call it “our all-time favorite Corvette” on the Facebook page for the raffle. Nobody could be happier about Morrison’s decision than Robert Drayton. The Southampton, N.J. man won the car July 13. The social also included a classic car show, and plenty of food and fun.
