Graduation

Pam Freyberger, second from left, and Mary Altman, third from right, are graduates of the five-year DRE certification program at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. Freyberger and Altman are parish catechetical leaders at St. Joseph Parish and Holy Family Parish, both in Jasper.

In addition to the workshops and sessions that they attended over the past five years, they also completed parish catechetical plans, teaching videos, Catechism examinations and reflection papers. The DRE certification program exceeds the standards set by the National Conference of Catechetical Leadership.
