Welcome!
“I invite all of you to welcome Cesar Berrios Chavarria to the Office of Hispanic Ministry staff,” writes Sharon Burns, director of Catholic Charities.
“Cesar will serve as the Coordinator of Hispanic Outreach and oversee education, program and community services.
“The goal of this area of the OHM is to assist Latinos in navigating the community more easily. In addition, we expect to work to assist local residents in building an understanding of the Latino culture.
“Cesar holds bachelor of arts degrees in Spanish and history from the University of Southern Indiana.  Because he and his family migrated to the U.S. from Nicaragua, he possess a unique understanding of the challenges immigrants face.
