Students from Holy Redeemer School in Evansville pray the Rosary on Oct. 3 during the 12th Annual Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour.

The World Apostolate of Fatima initiated this annual event, and schoolchildren around the world gather at the same time for a Holy Hour that includes the Rosary and other prayers.

In this photo, Holy Redeemer student Jessican Marquis, at the podium, leads the first Sorrowful Mystery. Fellow student Matthew Schroeder had just placed the continent of Africa, in green, on the world map. The other Sorrowful Mysteries were offered for the Americas, Europe, Oceana and Asia, respectively. St. John the Baptist School in Newburgh also participated in the Holy Hour.
