Examining our response to God

Father Pascal Nduka writes in the bulletin at St. Philip Neri Parish in Bicknell, “As God continues to call us to a life of joy and eternal happiness, we are challenged to examine the kind of response we give to God.

“Am I too busy with other things or too preoccupied with my occupation to bother about God’s message?

“‘If today you hear HIS voice do not harden your heart.’ Hebrews 3:15 Even as we answer this invitation, God expects us to put on the nature of Christ. St. Paul says, ‘Anyone in Christ is a new creature, the old is gone and the new has come.’ 2 Corinthians 5:17.

“As I partake the Eucharistic celebration, am I putting on the wedding garment?”
