Wisdom Days

Hundreds enjoy 2014 Wisdom Days

This fall Wisdom Days were held in three locations in the Diocese of Evansville, and attended by hundreds of people.

Each day included a meal and several speakers offering topics of special interest to senior citizens. Bishop Charles C. Thompson spoke at all three events.

The event for Dubois County was held Oct. 20 at the Huntingburg Event Center.

The Vincennes Wisdom Day was held at Vincennes University on Oct. 27.

The Evansville event was held Nov. 3 at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Daylight.

The events are coordinated by Catholic Charities. There was no cost to participants; the days were supported by donations from local businesses and parishes.
