Father Joseph Ziliak

Father Joseph Ziliak, retired priest of the Diocese of Evansville and former editor of The Message, led a group of 45 pilgrims on a tour of Italy that included a stop in Rome.

While there, they had Mass at the tomb of St. Peter in the crypt of St. Peter’s Basilica. They also enjoyed a general audience with Pope Francis on Nov. 6 – from a spot that got them up close to the Holy Father as he made his way through the crowd.
