Launching WTJW Catholic Radio

Father Ray Brenner, second from left, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Jasper and Dean of the Diocese of Evansville’s East Deanery, flips the switch to launch WTJW-FM, 93.1 mHz, which brings Catholic radio to Dubois County. The station’s schedule will include network programming from EWTN. Standing with Father Brenner during the Oct. 4 event at the STJW studio and office are Daniel Buechlein, left, Grand Knight of Jasper Council #1584 of the Knights of Columbus; Steve Luegers of WTJW and a member of the Knights; Father Gene Heerdink, retired priest of the Diocese of Evansville who worked on development and launch of the station; and  Bernie Fallon, past Grand Knight of Council #1584 and current District Deputy for District 32 of the K of C.
