Chrism Mass Is March 22

The Chrism Mass will be celebrated 5:30 p.m. Central Time on March 22 at Saint Benedict Cathedral. The Chrism Mass includes the blessing and consecration of the holy oils used throughout the year, and the priests of the diocese make a public renewal of their priestly promises to serve Christ and the Church. In addition, in this Jubilee of Mercy, come and pass through the Holy Door and celebrate God's mercy. The Sacrament of Reconciliation also will be available before Mass. All are invited to attend and show support of and appreciation for the service of our priests, and pray together as a diocese in the holy days leading up to Easter.
