Fortnight For Freedom Opening Mass Is June 21

Bishop Charles C. Thompson will open the fifth Fortnight for Freedom in the Diocese of Evansville at 5:30 p.m. on June 21 with Mass at St. Benedict Cathedral in Evansville. Held annually since 2012, the fortnight is organized by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The 2016 theme is “Witnesses to Freedom. Please save the date and plan to gather for the opening Mass.
