Volunteer Opportunity For Catholic Women

Women in Service to Our Communities – formerly known as Women in Service to Appalachia – will host a weeklong service project from July 8 through July 15 at Lotts Creek Community School near Hazard, in Southeast Kentucky. 

Volunteers will live in rustic dorm-style housing with other adult Catholic women.  They will perform home repair and other short-term projects as needed by the community. 

This project requires volunteers to put in a full day of labor each day, so applicants should be in good health. This weeklong trip offers opportunities for fellowship, prayer and cultural enrichment.
