WIKY Radio Morning Show hosts Dennis Jon Bailey and Diane Douglas welcome Sharon Burns, Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities, to the station’s studios on Evansville’s west side during their Aug. 25 broadcast. The team invites representatives of local organizations to prepare and deliver breakfast in return for some air time to talk about their organizations and programs. Burns and Catholic Charities staffers Tracy Gander and Annie Simpson delivered fresh fruit, homemade bacon, egg and cheese croissants and Donut Bank muffins to Bailey and Douglas, who visited with Burns on the air about a variety of Catholic Charities programs. Burns focused on the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program, which is set to begin a new series of classes. Old National Bank of Evansville sponsors this weekly breakfast segment on WIKY, and Kathy Schoettlin, Old National Executive Vice-President, Chief Community Relations and Social Responsibility Officer, appeared live to present a donation to Catholic Charities from the Old National Bank Foundation. For more information on Neighbor to Neighbor and other Catholic Charities programs, call 812-423-5456 or visit www.ccevansville.org.
