What aspect of priestly ministry is most attractive to you?

Administering the sacraments and preaching.

What would you say to a young man who is considering a call to the priesthood?

Pray and seek spiritual direction.  Investigate the call humbly and God will lead you.

What does discipleship mean to you?  Tell us why the Church needs disciples today.

Discipleship means total subjection of the will to the law and love of God.  The world needs disciples to be light to the world and witnesses to what is seen is transitory and what is unseen is eternal.

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I went to Northeast Dubois High School.  I played basketball in high school and baseball in high school and college.

What Scripture passage hits home with you the most these days? Why?

Philippians 2:6-11. As Christians we are all called to emulate Christ by emptying ourselves, taking the form of a slave and becoming obedient even unto death.

Do you have a favorite saint?  Who is it and why?

St. Augustine; he is my favorite author.
