Survey For 2015 Synod Of Bishops

At the request of Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, General Secretary of the Synod of Bishops, the Diocese of Evansville is preparing its response to a survey for use at the October 2015 Ordinary Synod of Bishops on the theme, “The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World.”  

To that end, a Diocese of Evansville online parishioner survey will be made available to all who wish to respond.  Please visit www.charitiesevv.org  OR www.themessageonline.org and click on “Synod on Family Survey”on the home page to reply.  The survey will be made available on 9 a.m. CST on Jan. 26, and will close at 5 p.m. CST on Feb. 8.  All responses are confidential.  

Parishioners who wish to respond to the survey are strongly encouraged to first read the preparatory document (“Lineamenta”) for the 2015 Ordinary Synod of Bishops, as it contextualizes the survey.  A link to the preparatory document will be available at www.charitiesevv.org  and www.themessageonline.org.
